Importing of NA (CWC) Controlled Items
Understand the import process for NA(CWC) controlled chemicals, including the necessary CWC licence, import permits, and Schedule 1 notification requirements.

A valid Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) licence is mandatory for importing CWC controlled items, and an approved import permit must be obtained for every shipment of scheduled chemicals listed under the CWC.
Advanced Notification for Schedule 1 Chemicals
If you intend to import Schedule 1 chemicals from CWC Member States:
You must notify NA(CWC) before the transfer.
You must also notify NA(CWC) after the transfer is completed.
Information Required for Import Permit
If your import is not restricted, you may apply for an import permit through TradeNet.

Note: The application will be processed within 2 working days once all required documents are submitted.
Restrictions for Imports from Non-Member States
The following restrictions apply to scheduled chemicals imported from non-Member States.
